You should receive a decision in principle straightaway, and be contacted within 24 hours to arrange for a Provident Agent to visit you and discuss the loan. Once approved, an Agent will return with the money.

Am I eligible?
To apply with Provident Personal Credit, you must be at least 18 years old, and younger than 74. You must be a UK resident and provide address details for the last three years. You must provide a telephone number and email address, ID, and other personal information such as your National Insurance number. You must also agree to a credit check and a visit from an Agent.

Your credit history will be assessed when you apply, but you do not need perfect credit. Their interest rate is capped at 0.8% by law, and you can repay your loan early with no penalties.
